Summer Breeze (feat. Duce Tro)

The Making of Summer Breeze

What’s meant for you will find you — but not without testing your patience first.

This song went through multiple versions before becoming what it is. On December 16, 2025, Mac-G recorded vocals for the track. It had a direction, but something didn’t fully click. By February 28, 2026, he decided to step away from it.

Another artist was lined up. The session was booked. Everything was set.

And then… nothing.

The day of the session, the artist completely ghosted August.

A few days earlier, Duce Tro had mentioned he wanted to be part of the deluxe while they were on set shooting the “Now I’m Up” video on March 14. When things fell through, August reached out.

On March 26, 2026, Duce was sent the song — and recorded his part that same day. He actually pulled up to the same session as MaccTunez and Mulababy, where “Livin The Dream” was being made.

The song finally became what it was supposed to be.

August talks about slowing down and realizing that life isn’t about chasing things — it’s about being present in the moment you’re already in.
Nitty talks about connection and finding peace in simplicity instead of always needing more.
Duce Tro talks about capturing a moment that feels perfect — the kind you don’t realize is special until you’re already in it.

We been driving through the 1 heading south

This moment here with my wife is what life is really about

Not the money

Not the clout

Not buying a nice house

Or dissin my old friends who stay running they mouth

Outta self defense

But I’ll confess it don’t compare

To the summer breeze

Love is in the air

So I take a breath

If I’m not living to the fullest I’m already dead

I been workin hard to put my family on a private jet

Not to make me happy

And not because of status

I wanna say I don’t need it cause I had it

I been living better by kickin my bad habits

I want my son to remember what real good dad is

Oh lord, I can’t help thinkin this deep

In moments like this when I need to just breathe

And Be so present that the present can’t leave

I’m lovin the sunset with the nice summer breeze
