Sometimes what you pass on isn’t wrong — it just isn’t time yet.

On August 25, 2025, this was one of the first beats August Wild and NittyGritty ever heard from Mani — someone they had never even met. They both felt something immediately, but at the same time, it felt too obvious. Too easy. So they passed on it and went on to record “Doesn’t Matter Anymore” instead.

Months later, when the idea of a deluxe started forming, that same beat came back around. On December 24, 2025, August bought it — not because it changed, but because they did.

He spent weeks trying to figure out the hook. Nothing felt right. Then one day, in the shower, the melody hit him out of nowhere. He got out, went straight to the studio, and recorded it before he could lose it. By February 20, 2026, the song was finished.

August talks about learning to embrace who he is instead of trying to reshape himself for acceptance.
Nitty talks about finding confidence in being different, even when it comes with feeling misunderstood or alone.
